THE COLLEGE OF ADMINISTRATION AND ECONOMICS IMPLEMENTS AN AFFORESTATION CAMPAIGN ON THE SITE OF Bab AL-ZUBAIR COLLEGES:
The agricultural unit cadres at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra according to the directives of the President of the University Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Naeem Sabah Jarrah, Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, carried out the campaign of installing Sidr trees of all kinds at the site of the Bab Al-Zubair colleges.
Dr. Naeem Sabah Jarrah stated that the campaign aims to intensify the vegetation cover and increase the green areas at the Bab Al-Zubair College’s site, which would contribute to improving the cultural and aesthetic appearance of the site.
He also added that planting trees of all kinds is a national and humanitarian duty for all members of society given the economic and environmental value of the tree.
