A LECTURER AT BASRA UNIVERSITY PARTICIPATES IN AN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE FOR PURE AND APPLIED SCIENCES:
The lecturer at the College of Administration and Economics at Basra University (Assist. Prof. Bahaa Abdul Razzaq Qasim) participated in the first international conference of the College of Science at Al-Muthanna University in cooperation with the Malaysian USM University for Advanced Research in Pure and Applied Sciences, which was held from 24-25 / 3/2021/.
The participation included a joint scientific research with Assist. Prof.  Mahdi Wahab Neama from the Faculty of Administration and Economics at the University of Karbala on (Campbell's Amputated Distribution from the Left - The New Eabel: Characteristics and Appreciation)

The research aims to propose a new complex probability distribution represented by the left-amputated Campbell distribution - and Epple, which is one of the probability distributions that can be applied in studying the reliability of machinery and equipment as well as studying the survival periods of people.
The research will be published in the international journal AIP, which is part of the SCOPAS classifications.
