UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES A GUIDANCE WORKSHOP ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
The Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, in collaboration with the Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah, organized a workshop titled "Developing Educational Counselors' Tools in the Era of Artificial Intelligence and Technology."
The workshop aimed to leverage artificial intelligence technologies to enhance the efficiency of guidance staff, enabling them to design innovative support programs and strengthen their digital skills.
The workshop presented by Ban Tawfiq Najm and human development and family counseling trainer Hawraa Mohammed Jabr, the workshop discussed the implications of digital transformation and the shift toward "smart guidance" for analyzing student cases, while emphasizing adherence to ethical standards.
The workshop recommended holding ongoing specialized training courses and establishing an ethical framework to govern the use of artificial intelligence and protect privacy.
