The University of Basrah announces significant progress in several research indicators, highlighting its alignment with the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings and the 2021-2025 follow-up data.
The university has recorded growth in scientific output from 4,585 to 5,452, and in international collaboration from 1,369 to 1,572. Furthermore, it has achieved a new ranking within the top 10% globally according to the FWCI index, rising from 392 to 430.
This progress is a testament to the efforts of the University of Basrah's researchers and faculty, reflecting the university's commitment to enhancing the quality of its scientific research, diversifying its international collaborations, and addressing its absence from global rankings.
