HIGHER DIPLOMA RESEARCH AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRA DISCUSSES ((THE ECONOMIC EFFECTS OF THE DECLINEIN WORLD OIL PRICES ON THE EXPORTING COUNTRIES))
The higher diploma in energy economics at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra discussed ((Economic effects of the decline in world oil prices on the exporting countries)), and the researcher's research ((Akram Ali Obaid)) included three axes, the first axis came in the conceptual framework On international crude oil prices, the second axis focused on the economic effects in oil-exporting countries. The third axis dealt with the future vision of global crude oil prices.
The research aims to analyze the impact of cyclical fluctuations in crude oil prices on the world oil market in the major oil-exporting countries, and their impact on GDP, exports, the budget and employment of oil-exporting countries.
The research concluded that the increase in world economic growth led to an increase in the overall demand for oil and its derivatives, which was positively reflected in the global increase in oil prices.
