University of BasrahOrganizes a Scientific Seminar on Smart Mathematics Using Excel

The College of Administration and Economics/Department of Accounting, in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education, organized a scientific seminar entitled: "Smart Mathematics Using Excel: From Traditional Equations to Professional Analysis."

The seminar aimed to connect theoretical mathematical concepts with practical application using Microsoft Excel, and to introduce participants to the most important mathematical equations and their application in data analysis and decision support.

The seminar, presented by instructors Ru'a Nabil and Tabarak Qasim, included a presentation of the most prominent equations used in the program and an explanation of professional data analysis methods and their practical applications.

The seminar recommended employing mathematical equations to solve real-world problems and analyze data instead of simply entering it, as well as preparing simplified reports that contribute to supporting decision-making and developing practical skills.
