University of Basrah Organizes Scientific Trip to the Central Bank of Iraq, Basra Branch

The College of Administration and Economics, Department of Business Administration at the University of Basrah, organized a scientific trip to the Central Bank of Iraq – Basra Branch, as part of its academic activities aimed at developing students' skills and enhancing their practical experience.
The trip aimed to develop students' skills and familiarize them with economic and financial policies, in addition to learning about the mechanisms of the Central Bank and its role in achieving monetary stability and supporting economic development. Students also had the opportunity to learn about the nature of the work of the various departments within the bank and the decision-making mechanisms in financial institutions.
The trip included the participation of a number of students from the department, supervised by instructor Yasmin Najm Abdullah Al-Saad. Specialists at the bank provided a comprehensive explanation of the Central Bank's tasks and tools in managing monetary policy, as well as answering students' inquiries and discussing practical aspects.
This trip comes within the framework of the department's efforts to enhance the practical aspect for students and connect theoretical concepts with practical reality.
