UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES PLANTING CAMPAIGN TO PROMOTE SUSTAINABILITY AND A CLEAN UNIVERSITY ENVIRONMENT
The College of Administration and Economics, Department of Management Information Systems, at the University of Basrah, organized a planting campaign in the college gardens as part of its sustainable development program. The campaign aimed to enhance the natural environment and create a clean university environment. College staff participated in the campaign, planting a number of seedlings and trees. The campaign also included raising awareness about the importance of preserving green spaces and their role in improving air quality. Those in charge of the campaign emphasized the need to continue such initiatives to solidify the concepts of sustainability and promote a spirit of volunteerism and social responsibility within the university campus.
