A HIGHER DIPLOMA RESEARCH AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH EXAMINES THE REALITY AND REQUIREMENTS OF IMPLEMENTING ISO 29001:2020
A higher diploma research at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Basrah, examines the reality and requirements of implementing an oil quality management system according to the international standard ISO 29001:2020 at the South Refineries Company.
The research, presented by student Yaarab Abdul-Amir Ahmed, aims to assess the feasibility of implementing the standard at the South Refineries Company and identify the most significant gaps between the current situation and the implementation requirements.
The research includes several chapters that address the concepts and importance of quality and the international standard, analyze the standard's data and its applicability, and identify the gap between the current situation and the standard's requirements.
The research concludes that there is partial implementation of the standard, in addition to the existence of several gaps.
The research recommends addressing these gaps by developing a timeline that targets items with low compliance rates.
