A  DIPLOMA THESIS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH EXAMINES STRATEGIC AWARENESS OF PROBLEMS FACING SOME GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS
The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah examined a diploma thesis entitled “Strategic Awareness of Problems Facing Some Government Institutions and its Relationship to Ignoring Strategic Risks.”
The research, presented by student Rawaa Mushtaq Talib, aimed to analyze the relationship between the dimensions of strategic awareness (current, future, internal, and external) and the ignoring of strategic risks within government institutions, as well as to measure its impact on improving the quality of administrative decisions.
The research employed a mixed-methods approach, conducting interviews and analyzing data using SPSS and MAXQDA software, with the study being applied in the field to a sample of employees in government institutions.
The research concluded that there is a significant relationship between a high level of strategic awareness and a decrease in the ignoring of strategic risks. It recommended the necessity of strengthening leadership culture and developing internal systems that support risk management and contribute to improving institutional performance.
