A master's thesis at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Basra, examined the reality of fintech companies and their impact on financial inclusion: an analytical study of a sample of companies from Saudi Arabia and Iraq for the period 2018-2023.

 

The thesis, submitted by student Aqeel Qasim Hussein, aimed to understand the development of fintech companies in Arab countries (Iraq and Saudi Arabia), as well as to study the activities of these companies and their impact on financial inclusion.

 

The thesis included a comprehensive study of the impact of fintech companies on financial inclusion and their methods of operation in banking and non-banking markets.

 

The thesis concluded that fintech companies have a significant impact on promoting financial inclusion, and that the development of banking institutions can only be achieved through non-banking institutions capable of innovation and providing financial solutions.
