The University of Basra Hosts a Meeting of the Deans of Colleges of Administration and Economics in Iraqi Universities

The University of Basra hosted a meeting today of the Deans of Colleges of Administration and Economics (specializing in administrative and economic sciences) in Iraqi universities. The meeting was chaired by Professor Dr. Abdul Hussein Tawfiq Shibli, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra and Head of the Committee of Deans of Administrative and Economic Sciences, with the participation of deans from similar colleges across various Iraqi universities.

The deans were welcomed by the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim Al-Asadi, who opened the session and welcomed them to the University of Basra. He emphasized the importance of the specializations represented on this committee, which places a significant responsibility upon them. The University President presented certificates of appreciation to the deans, and in turn, Professor Dr. Abdul Hussein Tawfiq Shibli, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics and Head of the Committee of Deans, presented a plaque of appreciation to the University President on behalf of the members of the Committee of Deans. The meeting addressed several academic and administrative issues related to developing the educational process, standardizing assessment procedures, and enhancing academic coordination among faculties of management and economics, in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

This meeting comes within the framework of supporting joint institutional work and raising the level of university education in the disciplines of administrative and economic sciences.
