A Master's Thesis at the University of Basrah Explores the Impact of Strategic Foresight and Strategic Intelligence on Strategic Resilience: The Mediating Role of Organizational Wisdom

A Master's thesis at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Basrah, explored the impact of strategic foresight and strategic intelligence on strategic resilience, focusing on the mediating role of organizational wisdom.

The thesis, submitted by student Zainab Hussein Ghali, aimed to determine the extent to which strategic foresight and strategic intelligence influence strategic resilience, with organizational wisdom acting as a mediating variable in this relationship.

The thesis concluded that integrating strategic foresight and strategic intelligence within a unified framework allows organizational wisdom to not only play a mediating role but also function as a higher-level knowledge platform that redirects the impact of strategic capabilities towards significantly enhancing strategic resilience.

The thesis recommended establishing an advanced knowledge platform that combines strategic foresight and strategic intelligence with the application of organizational wisdom to transform data into flexible, evidence-based strategic decisions. This would enhance the university's ability to adapt to and keep pace with environmental changes, address oversupply in certain specializations, and improve the employability of its graduates in public and private institutions.
