UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES A GUIDANCE WORKSHOP ON TRAFFIC CULTURE AMONG UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
The College of Administration and Economics, through its Educational Guidance and Psychological Counseling Unit, in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah and the Basra Governorate Traffic Directorate, organized a guidance workshop entitled "Traffic Culture Among University Students."
The workshop aimed to instill a commitment to traffic laws as a moral and humanitarian imperative, and to reduce accidents by developing skills in anticipating hazards and creating a safe university environment.
The workshop, presented by Lieutenant Colonel Jamal Nasser Rashid from the Basra Governorate Traffic Directorate, covered driving ethics, legal rules, causes of accidents, traffic safety, and psychological effects.
The workshop recommended integrating traffic culture into student activities, activating the role of student clubs, strengthening cooperation with traffic departments, improving infrastructure, and establishing a university traffic behavior observatory.
