UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH HOLDS WORKSHOP ON JOB MARKET ENTRY SKILLS
The College of Administration and Economics/career development center at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on job market entry skills.
The workshop aimed to introduce students to the essential skills required in the modern job market and highlight its main pillars, thereby contributing to bridging the gap between academic and practical knowledge and raising professional awareness.
The workshop, presented by Dr. Bahaa Abdul-Razzaq Qasim and Lecturer Shaimaa Qasim Mohsen, covered topics such as the pillars of the job market, the skills required of graduates, and the importance of developing personal and professional capabilities to enhance employment opportunities.
The workshop recommended the necessity of involving students in practical training programs and developing resume and interview skills to meet the demands of the job market.
