College of Administration and Economics Participates in Training Courses Offered by the Central Bank of Iraq:
The College of Administration and Economics, Department of Financial and Banking Sciences at the University of Basra, participated in the Banking Skills Training Program launched by the Central Bank of Iraq. The program aimed to enhance students' practical and applied skills, develop their knowledge of the systems and programs used in the banking sector, and strengthen their financial literacy.
The program included four training courses: The Supervisory and Regulatory Role of the Central Bank of Iraq, International Trade Finance Using Letters of Credit, An Explanation of Accounting Systems and Digital Transformation, and The Rapid Transformation of Electronic Payment Services. At the conclusion of the program, both parties expressed their gratitude for this initiative and its positive impact on developing students' skills and bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical application.
