Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Abdul Hussein Tawfiq Shibli, the College of Administration and Economics held its 17th Annual Evaluation Conference for the academic year 2024-2025, under the theme: "Quality Assurance: A Sign of Loyalty to the University."

The conference opened with a speech by the Dean of the College, who reviewed the importance of the conference and its objectives in developing academic and administrative performance and enhancing quality standards.
The evaluation conference included a review of the college's progress, during which several topics were presented. Among them was the academic topic, presented by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Ammar Yousef Dhajr, who discussed postgraduate studies, research, and the college's scientific activities.
The financial and administrative topic was presented by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Uday Safaa Al-Din, while the student affairs topic was presented by the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Ali Abdul Zahra. The most prominent challenges facing the educational and administrative processes were discussed, and recommendations were made to improve scientific research and community service.
At the conclusion of the conference, outstanding members of the college were honored.
