UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES A CEREMONY TO WELCOME FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2025-2026
The College of Administration and Economics, through its Educational Guidance and Psychological Counseling Unit, at the University of Basrah, organized a ceremony to welcome first-year students for the academic year2025-2026.
The ceremony aimed to welcome the students joyfully and encourage them to begin their studies positively.
The ceremony began with the national anthem and the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by a speech from the Dean of the College, who welcomed the students and emphasized the college's commitment to developing students with knowledge and values, urging them to adhere to and respect the college's regulations.
The ceremony included a presentation introducing the college, its departments, and its regulations, as well as student talent showcases, poetry recitations, and the distribution of sweets to celebrate their joining the college community.
