THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES A SEMINAR ON THE INTEGRITY COMMISSION LAW, PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT, AND REPORTING MECHANISMS
The College of Administration and Economics, Educational Guidance and Psychological Counseling Unit, in cooperation with the Federal Integrity Commission, Investigations Department, and the Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah, organized an awareness seminar entitled “Explaining the Integrity Commission Law, the Code of Conduct for Public Service, and the Mechanism for Reporting Crimes.”
The seminar aims to promote a culture of integrity and transparency within university institutions, and to raise awareness of employee responsibilities and proper methods of reporting violations.
The seminar included an explanation of the articles of the Integrity Law and the Code of Conduct, and a statement of the mechanisms for reporting crimes, with an emphasis on the confidentiality of information and the protection of whistleblowers to ensure a fair and safe work environment.
The seminar recommended the need to cooperate with regulatory bodies, include concepts of professional conduct in educational programs, encourage reporting of corruption, and intensify awareness workshops.
