UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES A SEMINAR ON HOW TO READ ECONOMIC NEWS
The College of Administration and Economics, through its Educational Guidance and Psychological Counseling Unit, in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah, organized a seminar entitled "How to Read Economic News: Economic Concepts from Reality."
The seminar aimed to enhance participants' abilities to analyze economic news and understand the indicators that influence markets and daily life, in addition to developing their skills in data interpretation and knowledge-based decision-making.
The seminar, presented by instructors Jaafar Ghazi Abdul Razzaq and Mazen Abdul Karim Jassim, included explanations of economic indicators and methods for evaluating the reliability of financial news.
The seminar recommended the need to promote economic literacy and increase the number of specialized workshops.
