BASRA UNIVERSITY DISCUSSES A HIGHER DIPLOMA RESEARCH ((THE IMPACT OF APPLYING COMPREHENSIVE QUALITY MANAGEMENT ON THE PERFORMANCE OF WORKERS IN HEALTH INSTITUTIONS))

The Higher Diploma in Business Administration discussed ((The Impact of Implementing Total Quality Management on the Performance of Personnel in Health Institutions)) - An Applied Study at Al Mousawi National Hospital.

The aim of the research presented by the student (Hussein Jabber Muhammad) is to identify the application of total quality management in the performance of workers in health institutions and to know the impact of support and commitment of senior management on the performance of workers in health institutions and to know the impact of focusing on the customer on the performance of employees.

The researcher concluded that there is a positive effect of the principles of applying total quality management on the performance of employees in general, and this indicates that the consequences of the concept of TQM are not limited to organizational performance, productive performance or technical performance, but rather they go beyond that to clearly affect the performance of people in the context of organizations.

The researcher recommended that there is an important necessity to direct the attention of higher administrations in hospitals to ensure the human aspect and its requirements in the plans and paths of the principles of total quality, and this matter is increasingly necessary in the service sector in general and the health care sector in particular.
