UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES GUIDANCE SEMINAR ON POST-GRADUATION CAREER PLANNING

The College of Administration and Economics, through its Educational Guidance and Psychological Counseling Unit, in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah, organized a seminar entitled "Post-Graduation Career Planning."
The seminar aimed to clarify career planning mechanisms, equip graduates with essential skills to secure suitable job opportunities, and cultivate a culture of self-development.
The seminar, presented by Dr. Ban Yassin Makki, Dr. Azhar Abdul Latif Hussein, and lect. Mayada Kadhim Natoush, covered communication skills, teamwork, time management, technical skills, and methods for gaining experience through courses and volunteering.
The seminar recommended focusing on skills development, staying informed about labor market demands, creating professional portfolios, and participating in student and volunteer activities.
