THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH CELEBRATES THE GRADUATION OF CLASS (58) IN A GRAND CELEBRATION UNDER THE SLOGAN "EXCELLENCE AND CREATIVITY"

On an exceptional night of joy and learning, the University of Basrah held its central graduation ceremony for the fifty-eighth class on Thursday evening, 23/10/2025, under the slogan "Excellence and Creativity." The ceremony took place on the Palm Trunk Stadium in the Sports City.
The ceremony was filled with joy for the graduates and their families, who came to share the joy of their children completing their university careers. The ceremony was attended by a large number of officials and academics, including the President of the University of Basrah and his academic and administrative assistants, deans of colleges, colleges members, and a large gathering of students and their families.
The College of Administration and Economics was among the colleges that distinguished themselves at this academic celebration. Prof. Dr. Abdul-Hussein Tawfiq Shibli, Dean of the College, was also present, along with the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, and the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs. The heads of academic departments shared the pride and honor of this academic achievement with the graduates.
During the ceremony, the college's top-ranking students were honored in recognition of their academic excellence, amid applause from the audience and congratulatory messages from their professors and colleagues.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Deanship of the College of Administration and Economics extended its warmest congratulations and best wishes to all the graduating students, wishing them continued success in their future lives. The Deanship emphasized that their achievements in excellence and creativity are a source of pride for the College and the University of Basrah.
