UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES A SEMINAR ON THE IMPACT OF OIL REVENUES ON BANKS ACTIVITY
The College of Administration and Economics, Department of banking and financial Sciences at the University of Basrah, organized a seminar titled "The Impact of Oil Revenues on Banks Activity," through an analysis of liquidity indicators for a sample of Iraqi banks for the period (2008-2024).
The seminar aimed to identify the nature of the relationship between fluctuations in oil revenues and the level of banking activity in Iraq.
The seminar, presented by Dr. Ahmed Jabr Salem and researcher Mayamin Majid Jawad, addressed the impact of oil revenues on banking liquidity, presenting a descriptive and analytical approach to studying banks financial statements.
