A MASTER'S THESIS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH EXAMINES JOB COMMITMENT AS AN INTERACTIVE VARIABLE IN THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MARITIME HUMAN RESOURCE MAINTENANCE AND EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE:
A master's thesis at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah examined job commitment as an interactive variable in the relationship between maritime human resource maintenance and employee performance.
The thesis, presented by student Muhannad Khazal Salem, aimed to identify the impact of maritime human resource maintenance programs on employee performance, highlighting the interactive role of job commitment.
The thesis also examined the extent to which human resource maintenance programs are implemented in ways that are consistent with the nature of work in the maritime sector.
The thesis recommended addressing the shortage of catering services for maritime crews to accommodate the nature of work in various maritime conditions, and to focus on activating marine and health insurance.
