UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES A SEMINAR ON STUDENT DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TOWARDS THE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS
The College of Administration and Economics - Department of Administrative Information Systems at the University of Basrah organized a scientific seminar entitled "Student Duties and Responsibilities Towards the University Campus." The seminar was part of awareness-raising activities aimed at promoting a university environment based on discipline and mutual respect. The seminar, presented by Assist. Lect. Nour Ahmed Hamid and Assistant Lect. Aqila Riyadh Abboud, included three main themes: the student's responsibility towards himself through commitment to diligence and hard work; his responsibility towards the university campus through preserving public property and the university environment; and his responsibility towards his colleagues through building relationships based on cooperation and mutual respect. The seminar aimed to raise students' awareness of their rights and duties on campus, instill a culture of respect for university rules and regulations, and encourage students to actively participate in maintaining a safe and clean educational environment. The seminar concluded with several recommendations that emphasized the importance of instilling a sense of responsibility and belonging a mong students, which contributes to reflecting a positive image of the university student and their educational institution.
