UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH HOLDS A SUICIDE PREVENTION AWARENESS CAMPAIGN:
Based on the directives of the university presidency and our belief that mental health is an essential component of a university student's life, and that discussing psychological crises is no less important than addressing academic issues, and because mental health issues are not limited to a specific group but affect us all, it is important to realize that seeking support is not a sign of weakness, but rather an expression of awareness and responsibility.
A kind word and listening can make a big difference. “One word can save a life.”
We publish for you a group of posters aimed at:
* Raising awareness of the importance of mental health
* Breaking the silence about psychological pressures
•Promoting a culture of dialogue and seeking help
•Ensuring the availability of psychological and social support
We invite our dear students to view and interact with these posters, and contribute to spreading awareness within the university community.
