A PHD. DISSERTATION EXAMINES (THE ROLE OF SUSTAINABLE FINANCE IN ENHANCING THE FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE OF THE BANKING SECTOR:
A PhD. dissertation at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah examined (the role of sustainable finance in enhancing the financial performance of the banking sector in the United Arab Emirates, with special reference to Iraq).
The dissertation, by researcher Mushtaq Talib Abdul Hamid, aims to review, analyze, and evaluate the dimensions of sustainable finance and their impact on financial performance in the banking sector in the United Arab Emirates, and to assess the reality and results of sustainable finance practices in the Iraqi banking sector.
The dissertation concluded that the main dimensions of sustainable finance have a significant impact on the financial performance of the banks included in the study.
The dissertation recommended intensifying efforts to consolidate the concept of sustainable finance in the banking sector in the United Arab Emirates and Iraq, by holding training and educational workshops, focusing on sustainable finance in its direct forms.
