UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES A SEMINAR ON "MARINE INSURANCE AS A MODERATING VARIABLE OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PROACTIVE LEADERSHIP AND MARITIME RISK MITIGATION MECHANISMS":
The Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah organized a seminar on "Marine Insurance as a Moderating Variable of the Relationship between Proactive Leadership and Maritime Risk Mitigation Mechanisms - A Survey Study at the General Company for Seaports."
The study highlights the importance of marine insurance as a moderating variable in addressing risks and mitigating losses, as it plays a pivotal role in transferring risks and providing financial and organizational protection for entities operating in the maritime sector.
The seminar, presented by Assist. Prof. Wafaa Ali Sultan and Researcher Ali Saadi Taher, aimed to shed light on the relationship between proactive leadership and maritime risk mitigation mechanisms, and to demonstrate the moderating role marine insurance plays in strengthening this relationship with the aim of improving the efficiency of marine risk management and ensuring the safety of maritime operations.
The seminar addressed a number of valuable observations related to the study sample and community, identifying it as a stratified sample appropriate for the study. Furthermore, the main variables were identified and discussed, and some modifications were subsequently made to them.
