UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES A TREE-PLANTING CAMPAIGN AS PART OF THE NATIONAL TREE PLANTING DAY ACTIVITIES:
On Wednesday 19/3/2025 a large-scale tree-planting campaign was held in all university sites, including the colleges of the Bab Al-Zubair site, under the direct supervision of the President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim.

Under the supervision of the Assistant Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Assist. Prof. Dr. Udiy Safaa Al-Din Fadhel
With the participation of the heads of academic departments and college students at all levels.
In implementation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s plan and in conjunction with the Prime Minister’s initiative to plant five million trees and palm trees,
Various types of trees and plants have been planted, contributing to the creation of a green university environment to achieve the goals of sustainable development at our generous university and providing an opportunity for national participation in preserving nature and confronting climate change.
