UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES A WORKSHOP IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE AL-AIN HUMANITARIAN FOUNDATION:
The College of Administration and Economics organized a workshop in partnership with Al-Ain Humanitarian Foundation, a non-profit civil society organization. The workshop was held in Al-Huria Hall.
The workshop included introductory lectures about Al Ain Foundation and the nature of its humanitarian work, as well as presenting the future goals adopted by the Foundation within the framework of its solidarity work.
The Foundation also played various roles in the various stages that the country went through, in terms of the Takfiri terrorist attacks that the Iraqi governorates were exposed to, such as terrorist bombings and others that left a very large number of orphans after 2005, as it was the eye that monitored, documented and cared for the orphans, whose number reached more than 98 thousand orphans cared for by the Foundation.
As well as the families who were displaced from all the governorates that were subjected to displacement to other governorates, the Foundation had a major role in helping them in their ordeal in all the governorates.
It was also a pioneer in supplying hospitals across the country with essential medical equipment and supplies during the coronavirus pandemic.
The second part dealt with the new mission added to the foundation, which is to treat cancer patients among orphans and the poor, as well as those under the age of 18.
The practical workshop concluded with a reminder of the human and religious obligation that God Almighty has commanded us to fulfill through the tongue of His Prophet, the Prophet of Mercy, peace be upon him, and his pure and good family, through the verses of the Qur’an and the hadiths.
