UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH COUNCIL HOLDS ITS WEEKLY SESSION AT THE COLLEGE OF ADMINISTRATION AND ECONOMICS:
The University of Basrah Council held a meeting on Tuesday 25/2/2025, headed by the University President, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, and the membership of his assistants and the deans of colleges, in the College of Administration and Economics.
The session included discussing many general and specific scientific and administrative matters related to postgraduate studies and preliminary studies students, approving scientific promotions to the rank of professor for a number of university lecturers, in addition to discussing recommendations to open new scientific departments in some of the university’s colleges.
The session concluded with a discussion of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s book on the admission plan for preliminary studies for the academic year 2025-2026.
