UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES AN AWARENESS AND GUIDANCE WORKSHOP ENTITLED (DANGERS OF DRUGS AND WAYS TO TREAT THEM)
The Educational Guidance and Psychological Guidance Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, in cooperation with the Director of Basrah Police and the Center for Continuing Education and Development at the University of Basrah, organized an educational and guidance workshop entitled (Dangers of drugs and ways to treat them).
The workshop, which was lectured by Lieutenant Colonel Diaa Nouri Salman / from the Criminal Evidence Department, included the dangers of drugs and their impact on health and psychological conditions, their types and ways to treat them.
The workshop aimed to raise awareness of the harms of drugs and provide support to people suffering from addiction.
In conclusion, the workshop recommended the need to raise awareness of the harms of drugs and provide support to people suffering from addiction. Strengthening and implementing policies and laws that limit the production, distribution and consumption of drugs and enhancing security and control at borders and ports to prevent the entry of drugs.
