UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES A MEMORIAL WORKSHOP ENTITLED (LEADERS OF VICTORY: INSPIRING LEADERSHIP VISIONS AND IMMORTAL SACRIFICES)
The Educational Guidance and Psychological Counseling Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah, organized a memorial workshop on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the martyrdom of the leaders of victory, entitled (Leaders of Victory: Inspiring Leadership Visions and Immortal Sacrifices), under the patronage of the President of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim Al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Hussein Tawfiq Shibli.
The workshop, which was lectured by Assistant L. Murtada Abdul Hussein Muhammad, a lecturer in the Department of Economics, included a statement and the importance of what the martyrs did in confronting the brutal enemy with a successful administrative and leadership role. The workshop also included a part of the display of the students’ talents and activities represented by a drawing of the happy martyrs and the martyrs of the Popular Mobilization Forces by the student in the Department of Statistics (Batoul Ahmed Abdullah).
The workshop aimed to demonstrate the fighting spirit and the important administrative pillar in confronting the enemy, which was carried out by the martyrs of victory and the martyrs of the Popular Mobilization Forces.
In conclusion, the workshop recommended the necessity of emulating their sacrifices and being proud of them by remembering their lives and attending awareness workshops dedicated to them.
