UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES AN AWARENESS AND GUIDANCE WORKSHOP ENTITLED (EARLY DETECTION OF BREAST CANCER)
The Educational Guidance and Psychological Guidance Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, in cooperation with the Women's Affairs Unit and the Center for Continuing Education and Development at the University of Basrah, organized an awareness workshop entitled (Early Detection of Breast Cancer)
The workshop, which was lectured by Dr. Reem Hisham Saleh from the Basrah Health Department - Cancer Control Division, aimed to raise awareness and detect breast cancer in its early stages, which increases the chances of recovery by up to 90%, and leads to reducing surgical procedures. In the field of improving the quality of life, early detection helps improve the quality of life for patients
Finally, the workshop recommended medical consultation, as women should consult a doctor in case of doubt and conduct the necessary examinations to determine the cause and follow medical instructions to prevent its risks.
