UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES AN EDUCATIONAL AND GUIDANCE WORKSHOP ENTITLED (TRAFFIC CULTURE FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS)
The Educational Guidance and Psychological Guidance Unit at the College of Administration and Economics organized, within the activities of the Guidance Week for the academic year 2024-2025, and in cooperation with the Basrah Governorate Traffic Directorate, an educational guidance workshop entitled (Traffic Culture for University Students) on Sunday, 24/11/2024.
The workshop, which was lectured by Colonel Salah Al-Asadi, Director of Public Relations and Media at the Basrah Traffic Directorate, included:
Traffic awareness and its comprehensive concept, knowledge and broad knowledge of everything related to traffic
From the vehicle, road, signs, systems, laws, and other things that positively reflect on the person, his good driving, and his observance of the various traffic systems.
The workshop aimed to save lives and reduce injuries resulting from road accidents. Traffic safety enhances the feeling of security while moving, and reduces material and economic losses resulting from accidents, thus contributing to achieving stability.
In conclusion, the workshop recommended the necessity of adhering to traffic laws. The workshop also included a discussion and some questions posed by the students.
