UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH ORGANIZES AN EDUCATIONAL AND GUIDANCE WORKSHOP ENTITLED “PREPARING FOR THE LABOR MARKET STARTS FROM THE UNIVERSITY.”
The Educational Guidance and Psychological Counseling Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah and the Departments of banking and financial Sciences and Economics at the College, organized an educational and guidance workshop entitled (Preparing for the Labor Market starts from the University).
The workshop, which was lectured by Assist. Lect. Murtada Abdul Hussein Muhammad and Assist. Lect. Abdul Hussein Abdul Karim, included how to prepare for the labor market through a set of practical experiences of some experts in this field, in addition to following correct planning methods to create a suitable work environment.
The workshop aimed to develop a special strategy for searching for a suitable work environment and developing more skills.
In conclusion, the workshop recommended the necessity of identifying the skills required in the labor market and acquiring them in a manner consistent with the needs and requirements of the market.
