A PhD. dissertation at the University of Basrah discusses: (Evaluating the effectiveness of Policies of the Central Bank of Iraq):

On Thursday 27/6/2024 a PHD. dissertation discussed at the College of Administration and Economics, Department of Economics at the University of Basrah, evaluating the effectiveness of the policies of the Central Bank of Iraq in employing international reserves and liquidity in foreign currency in confronting the financial crises in Iraq for the period 2003-2022. 
The researcher: (Salam Saddam Mehr Al-Abadi) aimed to know the effective role played by international reserves and liquidity in avoiding the Iraqi economy from the effects of financial crises that result from its relationship with the outside world through knowing the specific policies and the extent of their effectiveness in addressing that problem. 
The dissertation recommended applying the required disclosure model for data and information related to international reserves and international liquidity at the Central Bank of Iraq and developing policies related to avoiding financial crises facing the Iraqi economy by maintaining a sufficient balance of reserves in accordance with international indicators.
