THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH PROCEEDINGS THE IRAQI UNIVERSITIES IN THE BRITISH TIMES CLASSIFICATION 2024
The university of Basrah kept the lead site in the British Times classification for Sustainable Development 2024 for the fourth year in a row, it ranked first locally, followed by Al- Mustaqbal University and then the University of Baghdad.
The classification for this year entered sixty-two Iraqi universities and colleges that recorded competitive positions in the Times Classification for Sustainable Development for the year 2024, which included (2152) educational institutions from (125) countries around the world and the official published results indicated the University of Basrah at the center (401-600) globally and then a university of Al- Mustaqbal (601-800), followed by the University of Baghdad in the center) 601-800).
It is noteworthy that the British Times classification for sustainable development works to evaluate universities by achieving a number of (17) United Nations goals, including the quality of education, health, well -being, partnerships, industry and innovation.
