A LECTURE PARTICIPATION AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH IN THE TWELFTH NATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE OF THE COLLEGE OF LAW IN COOPERATION WITH SHATT AL- ARAB UNIVERSITY COLLEGE :

A lecture at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah Assist. L. Nada Mahdi Khalaf, participated in the twelfth national scientific conference of the College of Law jointly with Shatt al-Arab University College entitled (Legislative Challenges for Implementing Artificial Intelligence and Modern Technologies) which was held on 27/4/2023 in the Imam Ali Hall at the College the law.

The participation included presenting a research paper entitled (Legal Personality for artificial intelligence)

The participating research aims to provide an overview of the legal systems in public and private use, examine the challenges posed by modern technological developments, and explain the constitutional treatment, legislative regulation, and government implementation mechanisms for the use of artificial intelligence techniques, since the latter carries with it unfamiliar risks as a new technology, which raises problems regarding the extent to which The ability of the current legal system to confront these challenges, in particular to address the problem of liability for harm caused by artificial intelligence to individuals, is demonstrated by discussing the extent to which artificial intelligence can be granted legal personality or not.
