BASRA UNIVERSITY ORGANIZES A WORKSHOP ON FAMILY COHESION:
The Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah organized a workshop on the topic of family cohesion, in cooperation with the Basrah Police Command and in the presence of Brigadier Jassim Al-Rikabi and First Lieutenant Raghad Al-Rikabi.
The workshop aimed to define and explain family law, explain the importance and role of community and family police, and how to communicate with them in the event of family problems or any domestic violence on the Allocated number for these cases 139
The workshop included the statement of (women’s brigade) unit in the Basrah Police Command in its successful interventions in reducing family problems and domestic violence.
A set of examples of the most common crimes in the country was presented and how to deal with it.

In conclusion, the workshop recommended the necessity of family cohesion and rejection Family disputes, attention to raising children properly, and respect for parents as they form strong bonds between the family, and are reflected in a healthy, safer society
