The study discussed the Higher Diploma in Business Administration on ((Determining the critical factors in the success of the municipality projects management using the hierarchical analysis method)) - an applied study in the municipality of Basra Governorate.
The research presented by the student (Intedaar Ali Majeed) included four chapters, the first chapter dealt with the research methodology, the second chapter included the theoretical aspect, and the third chapter the practical side, and the fourth and last chapter came with the most important conclusions and recommendations.
The aim of the research is to find critical success factors for managing the municipality’s legislature, identifying and studying them, finding the most influential factors than others, and paying attention to developing them and improving their performance in the Basra Municipality Directorate and in the Basra Provincial Office, Projects Division - Municipality Division
The researcher concluded that Basra municipality projects contain a number of critical factors that affect the success of the projects, which have an effective and direct role in the performance of Basra municipality projects. The results of computer applications showed the percentage of importance that was used to analyze the data through answers to questions that were asked to a number of Specialists in managing municipal projects and the answers were effective and able to achieve the goals.
The researcher recommended the need to pay attention to the application of critical factors for projects and to pay attention to the factors that have an impact and a higher percentage than other factors, and that the study model will help specialists in managing municipality projects and to know the most important errors and obstacles that hinder work performance
