A MASTER’S THESIS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH DISCUSSING (FUZZY REGRESSION MODELING AND ITS HYBRIDIZATION WITH A MULTI-OBJECTIVE PROGRAMMING APPROACH WITH APPLICATION):
A master’s thesis in the College of Administration and Economics in the Department of Statistics at the University of Basrah (fuzzy regression modeling and multiple programming)
By the researcher: (Fatima Othman Attia) and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sahira Hussein Zein Al-Thaalabi
The researcher's thesis aims to model the fuzzy regression model with an optimization approach for multi-objective programming with a number of hybridization algorithms (NSGA2, MOEAD, SPEA2) for the purpose of obtaining new improved communities with solutions close to reality.
This model was applied to the highly salinity waters of the Shatt al-Arab to try to find several solutions with the aim of reducing salinity at the lowest possible costs. Given that the salinity ratios are not fixed and are random and fuzzy, it was better to study this problem using fuzzy regression with multiple programming. The researcher employed fuzzy regression parameters in Objective function for multiple programming for the purpose of obtaining scientifically acceptable solutions by minimizing the objective function problem.
