THE COLLEGE OF ADMINISTRATION AND ECONOMICS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRA DISCUSSES THE USE MARKOV ABSORPTION CHAINS TO PREDICT THE NUMBER OF GRADUATES:

A panel discussion at the College of Administration and Economics at Basra University discussed ((Using absorbent Markov chains to predict the number of graduates in the College of Business and Economics at Basra University)) and the workshop was moderated by (Assist. Dr. Mona Tahir Ghafil) and (Assist.Prof. Fatima Hashem Falahi) and (Prof.D. Walid Mayya Rodin).  Researcher Mona Tahir Ghafil said that the process of forecasting the number of graduates in the College of Business and Economics is an important issue that needs study and analysis.  The researcher recommended that he use absorbent Markov chains to predict the number of graduates by calculating the average number of years a student will stay in the College of Administration and Economics before graduating from the college.  And that the results of the annual graduation rate of the college is 78.22% and that the average number of students expected to graduate from the college for the years 2020 / 2019 - 2017 / 2016 is 3290
