BASRA UNIVERSITY HOLDS A PANEL DISCUSSION ON IMAGE PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY:

The Department of Statistics at the College of Administration and Economics - University of Basra held a seminar on image processing using the Matlab program for the assistant Prof. Ahmed Nasser Ismail, a lecturer in the Department of Statistics.

Ismail explained that image processing technology is one of the modern technical methods used in many scientific fields, and Ismail explained that digital images are divided into (two-color images, gradient images, and color images), but the processing of images and measuring their quality and efficiency requires the use of some Statistical indicators with which it is possible to evaluate areas of homogeneous picture.
