BASRA UNIVERSITY IS DISCUSSING THE COSTS OF DRILLING OIL WELLS IN THE SOUTHERN REGION:

The study of the Higher Diploma in Energy and Oil Economics - Department of Economics / College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra - and the tagged ((Costs of drilling oil wells in the southern region)) by the student ((Samir Salem Hussein Al-Tamimi)) was discussed under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nadwa Hilal Judah.

Al-Tamimi indicated that the costs of drilling oil wells and the accompanying large economic costs as a result of the dangerous technical operations and the large number of equipment and materials used is one of the important places, so the study aimed to explain the costs that the Iraqi Drilling Company spends on drilling operations for national effort companies and foreign companies, indicating that  The study problem is summarized in the impact of foreign drilling companies in the Iraqi Drilling Company, which in turn is reflected in the costs and profits of the Iraqi Drilling Company.

Al-Tamimi indicated that the study was able to arrive at the mechanism by which drilling costs are calculated by knowing the contracts in which the company operates, with knowledge of the costs of drilling oil wells in both systems (turnkey and daily system)

The discussion committee was formed by Dr. ((Nabil Jaafar Abdul Ridha)) as chairman, with the membership of each of the oil expert Dr. ((Abdullah Abdul-Hussein)) - Ministry of Oil / South Oil Company, and Dr. ((Hilal Judah Symposium)) as a member and supervisor.

And the study got an excellent rating.
