BASRA UNIVERSITY HOLDS A WORKSHOP UNDER THE TITLE ((E-LEARNING AND ITS ROLE IN DEVELOPING ACADIMIC WORK)):

The Department of Statistics at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra held a workshop entitled ((E-learning and its role in developing academic work)), and the workshop was moderated by Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Hisham Muhammad a lecturer in the Statistics Department.

Muhammad indicated that the spread of the concept of e-learning came as a result of the spread of modern means of communication such as computers, the Internet, and multiple media, such as: audio, image, and video.

He explained that e-learning has many advantages that contribute to increasing the students' communication opportunities between them and the teacher, and it also provides opportunities for the student’s contribution to present his point of view without hindrance.
