The University of Basrah organizes an educational seminar entitled (The role of statistics in the Health sector)
On Tuesday, 12/12/2023, the Educational Guidance and Psychological Guidance Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah held an educational seminar entitled (The Role of Statistics in the Health Sector), in which Assist. Lect. Rehab Ahmed, Teaching in the Statistics Department, and Raghad Khalil Shawai from Al-Mishraq Model Health Care Center
The seminar included targeting the department’s students to spread awareness among their young peers about to study at university about the importance of this science, and the possibility of working as a statistician in various fields, including the health sector.
The seminar aimed to shed light on the importance and role of statistics in the health field due to the services it provides that would advance the health sector in all its health institutions, in addition to spreading awareness among the student statistician of the importance of his specialty due to his effective role in this field, and the possibility of working and developing the statistical self after graduation.
