BASRA UNIVERSITY HOLDS A WORKSHOP ON THE PROJECT OF LOCALIZING THE SALARIES OF LECTURERS AND COLLEGE EMPLOYEES:

The Deanship of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Rasheed Bank, held a workshop on the salary localization project and a copy of the draft contract and the presentation of banking services. The workshop was moderated by Dr. Abdul-Hussein Tawfiq Shibli, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs.

Shibli explained that this project came according to the directives of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, due to the necessity of resettling the salaries of employees for the public and private sectors and for issuing the internationally accepted payroll card (Nikhil card), where the management and operation of electronic salary payment cards will be provided by the bank.

The associate referred to several items that were raised during the workshop, including the uses of the Nikhil (MasterCard) card, the advantages and services of the card, in addition to the card’s commercial offers.

The workshop was attended by Dr. Yusef Ali Al-Asadi, Dean of the College, and a number of faculty and staff.
