A LECTURER AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BASRAH PARTICIPATES IN GIVING LECTURES ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL ECONOMICS
A lecturer at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah Prof. Dr. Nadwa Hilal Judeh, participated in giving lectures at the American International Academy for Higher Education and Training on sustainable development.
The participation included delivering two lectures, the first entitled ((Basics of Sustainable Development)) and the second entitled ((Environmental Economics)) to the participants in the International Consultant Diploma in Sustainable Development, which was held during the period 17/8/2023 to 5/10/2023.
The first lecture aims to identify the basics of sustainable development and the 2030 Agenda and what are the principles, characteristics and indicators of this development, considering that it is development that is pro-human. As for the second lecture, which was about environmental economics, it aims to shed light on environmental economics and its nature and inform the participants that it constitutes a major cause of market failures, and misdistribution).
